Smart Transportation is an approved Medicaid transportation provider in South Carolina. That means we must pass rigorous credentialling to obtain the necessary licensure required from the state. When customers use our ride services, they will receive the same excellent standard of service as any of our contracted medical providers or private pay clients would, while utilizing their Medicaid benefits as payment.

We run full background checks on all of our drivers, and they are all full-time benefitted employees — not independent contractors like some other companies use. This allows us to ensure that our drivers are all compassionate, caring, reliable, and responsible individuals. Smart Transportation drivers are trained to transport clients with or without mobility challenges to their medical destinations safely, and timely. Our drivers go above and beyond, escorting customers with door-to-door service.
